Join Our Team: Senior Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff (Maternity Cover)

A rare opportunity to become the Founder’s right hand within a growing luxury business, with real scope to influence operations, relationships and future expansion.

At Luxury Communications Council and Shephard Communications, we operate at the intersection of luxury, influence and insight. Across our two businesses, we bring together leading luxury brands, create meaningful industry connections, and deliver strategic PR and events that shape the conversation. From curated gatherings to brand partnerships and industry intelligence, our work is both considered and dynamic.

We are now seeking a Senior Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff (maternity cover) to work directly alongside our Founder & CEO.

A pivotal role at the heart of the business

This is an opportunity to step into a central position within a small, high-performing team, acting as the CEO’s right hand and playing a key role in the day-to-day running and future growth of the company.

You will be involved across all areas of the business, from managing relationships and memberships to supporting events, operations and strategic initiatives. Over time, there is scope to take on greater responsibility, including supporting international expansion and helping shape the direction of the business.

This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The ability to manage multiple priorities, think ahead and remain composed under pressure is essential.

What you will be responsible for

  • Supporting the Founder & CEO across both businesses

  • Driving business growth through relationships, memberships and sponsorships

  • Managing key client and partner relationships

  • Coordinating and delivering events

  • Overseeing operational and administrative processes

  • Implementing systems to ensure organisation and efficiency across the business

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is naturally organised, detail-driven and takes pride in precision.

You will enjoy creating structure, improving processes and keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes. A strong affinity for spreadsheets, data and systems is essential, alongside a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

You should be confident working independently, highly articulate and comfortable representing the business in front of clients and partners.

Background and experience

We are open-minded on background, but this role may suit someone with experience as:

  • An Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff

  • Operations or logistics

  • PR, marketing or events

Essential requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

  • High attention to detail and confidence working with spreadsheets

  • Professional, articulate and client-facing presence

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of London and the luxury landscape

  • Experience in marketing, PR or events

  • Database management experience

  • Corporate experience

The opportunity

This role offers the chance to gain deep exposure to the luxury industry, work closely with a founder, and play a meaningful role in a growing business.

For the right person, it is more than a support role, it is an opportunity to become a trusted partner and contribute to the future of the company.

Salary: Up to £65,000 depending on experience
