Founded in 2017, Luxury Communications Council is the world’s only membership network dedicated to advancing global luxury by uniting, supporting and championing marketing and communications leaders driving the sector.

A Brief History of LCC

Luxury Communications Council is the vision of award-winning communications leader Rosie Shephard, who recognised the need for a specialist network focused on uniting luxury’s most influential marketing and communications experts. Since establishing LCC London in 2017, the network has opened Chapters in Dubai and New York, and continues its core commitment to facilitating meaningful connections, collaborations, and knowledge exchange internationally - all of which drives innovation and propels the luxury industry forward.

Rosie Shephard

As the founder of LCC, Rosie leverages her two decades of experience and unparalleled connections to establish a powerful, purpose-driven and discerning network. With a passion for the luxury sector, Rosie is committed to advancing its growth and fostering meaningful collaborations among LCC’s members.

Rosie has a formidable background in luxury communications, having launched global brands and campaigns for major hospitality and retail houses, including the royal communications for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Prior to this, Rosie spent five years as Global Communications Director for Rocco Forte Hotels, and in 2018 founded her own award-winning agency - Shephard Communications - which is dedicated to helping existing luxury brands stay relevant and new luxury brands establish themselves in the market.

Rosie is also the curator of the Most Influential list in Luxury for the PRWeek Power Book, and a regular contributor to the Evening Standard and The Independent, two of the UK’s leading media titles.

A Global Collective

Luxury Communications Council's reach extends far beyond the UK to key international luxury markets including the GCC and North America. The LCC Chapters provide networking opportunities and resources for members across three continents, and are currently active in both Dubai and New York, with more Chapters planned in new regions.

LCC London

Founded 2017

Our first chapter, LCC London brings together some of the most dynamic directors in the luxury world with numerous events of every scale.

80 of the most prestigious brands in the world are members of the London Chapter, and we have a waitlist of many more.

LCC New York

Launched October 2024

LCC New York launched in October 2024 with the first meeting held at the stunning and exclusive Roof Terrace at AMAN New York. Hilary Milnes, Executive Americas Editor at Vogue Business delivered insights on Gen Z and their disruption of the consumer funnel.

LCC Dubai

Launched May 2025

LCC Dubai Chapter launched in May 2025 at the brand-new Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab – uniting the GCC’s most revered luxury leaders to create something remarkable in the region.
