One of the most prestigious British luxury brands with unique heritage and strong values of craftsmanship, is currently looking for a Social Media Manager to be based in the London Head Office.

The Social Media Manager, who will report to the Global Marketing and Communications Director, will manage the “Voice” of the brand for all social media platforms, in order to effectively communicate with the various types of users. Aim of the role is to maximize the social engagement, increase the number of followers and implement an effective and consistent content on all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages all social channels directly on a daily and hourly basis, both in real time and verifying planned events • Monitors the effectiveness and success of online initiatives using proper assessment tools, generating detailed daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports in order to refine the content of the social strategy • Creates and maintains a social media calendar for long-term and short-term projects and campaigns that align with the brand’s overall marketing calendar and business goals • Drives the development of follower growth and engagement strategies with a focus on Instagram, Facebook social channels • Responsible for editing, posting/publishing and sharing content across all social platforms • Identifies opportunities to evolve content, influencer and UGC strategy working with teams and resources around the business • Builds, maintains and develops relationships with bloggers, influencers and celebrities leveraging dressing, product seeding, events and paid partnerships • Identifies the most significant blogs and activates “Social Conversations” to maximize the success of communication initiatives and Viral Marketing efforts

Team & People Management

• Builds and manages all relationships with external service providers and agencies, maintaining adequate control over budgets, timelines and quality • Assists Senior Management in the planning, forecasting and measurement of Communication & Marketing’s impact to the business • Manages budget (cost estimates, POs, invoices) and cash flow management • Works closely with Marketing Specialist to align on marketing calendar and activities

As a Communications Manager you will work with the Head of Communications on the planning and execution of De Beers Jewellers social content, public relations, events and celebrity global strategies.

This fantastic role will involve the following but not limited to:

SOCIAL:

Manage the global social media channels, including China (WeChat, Weibo, YouKu), developing a seasonal content plan with relevant assets. Taking ownership of the briefing creative, through to delivery, working closely with Brand team to create assets for interesting and engaging content.
Manage upload of content to all platforms and reporting thereof.
Own the social interactions with all followers to ensure relevant responses and actions are executed.

INFLUENCER/KOLs

Identify opportunities with prospective influencers with a global view, not limited to jewellery industry, who could amplify DBJ’s existing reach and engagement.
Evaluate all individual influencers for each market, brand fit, engagement, amplification, with a view to repurposing content and further growing audiences.

GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS

Manage and run daily press office for all shoot requests + management, images, copy, quotes, events: Franchise markets, PAN, all regions without DBJ offices.
Support HOC with new store opening & events communications guidelines for markets.
Develop and manage a global PR calendar, assets and guidelines to ensure consistent execution and timely delivery with the markets.
Support HOC in the creation of the global editorial strategy. Plan and work with the DBJ markets to deliver.
Focussing on Franchise partners to adapt and distribute all press tools and guidelines to ensure relevancy for franchise market. Collaborate with partners on local event strategy and VIP/influencer engagement.
